Dear All, Hi, we have purchased several 7911G Cisco phones without knowing that we need to convert them to SIP. We are currently using Snom devices with Elastix which works fine and going through hordes and hordes of articles on how to convert various Cisco phones but not the 7911G. After reading several of the articles mentioned above, I have downloaded the Cisco software (cmterm-7911_7906-sip.8-3-3.zip), setup a tftp server, and have managed to get no further as the phone cannot connect to the tftp server. Is there anyone who has done this with Elastix and can shed some light? Greatly appreciate any help.

Hi danardf, Followed an older link of yours and managed to get to the stage where you say to Verifiy that you have this file in: /usrlib/asterisk/modules/chan-sccp.so - I'm not very good with linux command line generally but managed to look around and there isn't a file by that name. Also, when you say Add every SEP[mac].cnf.xml that you need this some devices parameters. Add also the file; XMLDefault.cnf.xml., and be careful at format and each parameters.

Hi, I have 3 7911G Cisco phones that are unable to reset. I need to install «cmterm-7911_7906-sccp.9-1-1SR1» firmware. I use tftpd32 and this is my setting (I tried 3 differents versions of the utility and 2 differents procedures for this): I also tried 192.168.1.108 for the computer IP but that doesn't work. Same thing for checkbox: Ping addresse before assignation And Persistant leases. Checked or not, it doesn't work.
