Most of us did a clean install and it would be great if those that had Media Center could still get the app by putting our activation number in.when you just upgrade it leaves some partitions from Windows 8 or Windows 7 depending on what system you upgraded, but from what I have read many dd as I did, we upgraded then did a clean install, I thought the current app which is loaded when you install 10 was the one but tonight I found out that was not the case.Please come up with a way we can still get the app for playing DVD's using our Media Center activation code. Its really a shame that everything has basically gone subscription and it dont make sense for people like myself who may watch a few DVD movies every few months to pay for some DVD Software or even the monthly subscription fee.windows 10 may be free for people who had Windows 8.8.1 and Windows 7 but in the long run its really not free when you look at what we traded off for the operating system, I am not trying to complain, I like windows 10 and don't even mind putting up with commercials when playing Microsoft and Xbox games. If you upgraded from a version of Windows that had Windows Media Center installed (not Windows Media Player), it should have been included in the updates that were installed during the upgrade, or shortly thereafter. If you didn't have Media Center, you weren't eligible for the offer.
