Happy December. This fully-voiced mod (a heavy edit of 's original mod) adds a functional purchasable player home in Mt Charleston, made for my good friend. The file does not require any DLC and has been cleaned with FNVEDIT, so it should be safe for everybody to use. Macross frontier nyan tama. Still, you should always make a backup save before installing ANY mod, in case something goes wrong. A comfy wood cabin nestled in the mountains is now available! Some interesting features are a neat little unique explosive, some foods, a handful of upgrades you can buy, seasonal decorations you can set up, access to a merchant and repairer, and most amenities: safe containers (the garbage can can be emptied manually), workbench, reloading bench, cooking pot, swappable queen and bunk beds, tunable radio (available stations are Mojave Music Radio, Radio New Vegas, Ultra-Luxe Casino, Gomorrah Casino and The Tops Casino -- radio stations only, no mods or DLC) and the like.

Hopefully all you need if you want to hide away from the world for a while. When you first get there the house will be locked. You'll have to pick the lock to enter, and things will go on from there. There are a few ways to proceed, and a chance to even get the house for free if you have enough skill, or the right perk! (Hint: it's related to robots) Most activatables will not work until you get your hands on the house key, and stealing stuff before that will get you in trouble. This is intentional.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the massive amount of changes I made to Game3r87's original mod (including removing the sauna, sorry!), I renamed the esp to prevent issues with people assuming they can just swap esp files and go on their merry way. If you have the original Snow Cabin mod installed and want to install mine, make sure to grab all of your belongings from the cabin beforehand, because they will be lost otherwise. Make a save, uninstall (and endorse!) Snow Cabin, and then install this mod. Mt Charleston. There is a map marker available, but you will have to discover it before you can fast travel. To install, extract the contents of the folder to your 'Steam/SteamApps/Common/Fallout New Vegas/Data' folder. Then activate the mod through your preferred launcher by ticking the checkbox next to the esp. Or you can use your mod manager of choice to download the mod automatically. To uninstall, simply delete the files from your Data folder, and you're good to go.
